Kurragömma

Kurragömma is a popular children's game played worldwide, known by various names in different cultures. The objective of the game is for one player, designated as the "seeker," to find the other players, who are hiding.

The game begins with one player closing their eyes and counting to a predetermined number, often at a designated "base" or "home" spot. While the seeker counts, the other players, known as "hiders," scatter and conceal themselves. Once the seeker finishes counting, they call out "Ready or not, here I come!" and begin searching for the hiders.

When the seeker spots a hider, they must call out the hider's name and the location where they were found. The found hider is usually out of the game or must return to the base. The game continues until all hiders are found. The first player found often becomes the seeker for the next round. Variations exist regarding how players are declared "out," with some requiring the seeker to touch the hider or reach the base before them.
