Kumrovec
Kumrovec is a village in northern Croatia, situated in Krapina-Zagorje County within the Hrvatsko Zagorje region. It lies in a rural, hilly landscape that is characteristic of the Zagorje area. The village is best known as the birthplace of Josip Broz Tito, the Yugoslav leader who ruled the country for several decades in the mid-20th century. Tito was born there in 1892, and his birthplace house has been preserved as a museum.
