Kuivpuhastusvahendid
Kuivpuhastusvahendid, or dry cleaning agents, are chemical compounds used to clean textiles and other materials without the use of water. These agents are typically used in dry cleaning processes, where they dissolve the dirt and oils from fabrics, which can then be separated from the fabric and the agent recycled. The most commonly used dry cleaning agent is perchloroethylene (PCE), also known as tetrachloroethylene. PCE is a chlorinated hydrocarbon that is effective at dissolving oils and fats, making it ideal for cleaning fabrics that are sensitive to water, such as wool, silk, and certain synthetic materials. However, PCE is also a known carcinogen and has been phased out in many countries due to health and environmental concerns. As a result, alternative dry cleaning agents have been developed, including hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and hydrocarbons (HCs). These agents are less harmful to human health and the environment, but they may not be as effective at removing certain types of stains. The choice of dry cleaning agent depends on the type of fabric being cleaned, the nature of the stains, and the environmental and health considerations.
