Kronologisk

Kronologisk is an adjective used in several Scandinavian languages, notably Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish, to denote something that relates to chronology or is arranged in order of time. It is formed from the noun kronologi (chronology) with the suffix -sk(-isk) that commonly creates adjectives in these languages. The underlying root traces to the Greek chronos meaning time, via the concept of chronology in Latin-based terms.

Usage of the term appears in historical writing, archaeology, library and information science, and data design

In practice, kronologisk is used similarly across Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish, with parallel meanings and applications.
