Korvatipat
Korvatipat are medicinal liquids applied into the external ear canal to treat or relieve conditions of the ear, or to soften earwax (cerumen). They are available in a range of formulations and can be sold over the counter in some countries or provided by a healthcare professional in others. Types include cerumenolytics for wax removal, antibiotic or antibiotic–steroid drops for infections, antifungal drops for fungal infections, and analgesic or anti-inflammatory drops that may contain local anesthetics or corticosteroids. Some preparations are intended for adults, others for children.
