Korskopplingsnätverk

Korskopplingsnätverk, often translated as crossbar switch or crosspoint switch, refers to a type of electronic switching system that allows any input signal to be connected to any output signal. This is achieved through a matrix of interconnected switches, where each intersection point represents a potential connection. Imagine a grid of horizontal and vertical lines; at each point where a horizontal and vertical line intersect, there is a switch. When that switch is activated, it creates a direct electrical path between the input signal corresponding to that horizontal line and the output signal corresponding to that vertical line.
