Korrózióellenesség

Korrózióellenesség refers to the characteristic of a material or a system to resist corrosion. Corrosion is the gradual destruction of materials by chemical and/or electrochemical reaction with their environment. Korrózióellenesség, therefore, signifies the ability of a substance to withstand this degradation process. This property is crucial in numerous applications where materials are exposed to harsh conditions, such as in industrial machinery, infrastructure, and consumer products.

Materials exhibit korrózióellenesség through various mechanisms.
