Koripallokentät

Koripallokentät, Finnish for basketball courts, typically consist of a rectangular hardwood floor with a hoop at each end. The dimensions of the court are 28 meters in length and 15 meters in width for international competitions, but can be as small as 19x24 meters for recreational use.

The court is divided into two halves by a mid-court line, with a free throw line and a three-point line beyond each hoop. At each corner of the court, there are a pair of corner boards that help to define the playing area. Koripallosääntöjen mukaisesti (as per basketball rules), there are also marked lines and areas for certain types of plays.

This apron typically has a lower surface height than the main playing area.
