Koranen
Koranen is the Swedish term for the Quran, the central religious text of Islam. Muslims regard the Quran as the literal word of God (Allah) revealed in Arabic to the Prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel during the 7th century CE. The text is traditionally divided into 114 chapters, or surahs, which vary in length and are arranged roughly from longest to shortest in most printed editions. The surahs address theology, law, guidance for personal conduct, morality, social justice, and narratives about previous prophets.
