Kopolimeri

Kopolimeri, or copolymers in English, are a type of polymer composed of two or more different monomer units chemically bonded together. Unlike homopolymers, which consist of a single type of monomer, copolymers exhibit a combination of properties derived from their distinct building blocks. This diversity allows for the tailoring of material characteristics such as strength, flexibility, chemical resistance, and processability.

Copolymers are typically classified based on their structure into several categories: random, block, graft, and alternating copolymers. Random copolymers have monomer units distributed arbitrarily along the chain, while block copolymers consist of large contiguous segments of each monomer.
