Konvektsioonküte

Konvektsioonküte is a heating method that utilizes the natural circulation of air to distribute heat throughout a space. This process begins with a heat source, typically a radiator or a heated element. As the air near the heat source becomes warmer, it expands and becomes less dense, causing it to rise. As this warm air ascends, it displaces cooler, denser air that is closer to the ceiling. The cooler air then sinks towards the heat source to be warmed, completing the convection cycle.

This continuous movement of air creates a gentle flow that gradually heats the entire room. Unlike radiant heating, which directly warms objects and people, convection heating primarily warms the air. The efficiency of convection heating depends on factors such as the design and placement of the heat source, the size and layout of the room, and the presence of any obstructions that might impede air circulation. Common examples of convection heaters include baseboard heaters and many types of central heating systems where warm air is distributed through ducts. The aim is to create a uniform temperature by consistently circulating the air and transferring heat throughout the occupied space.
