Konvektoris

Konvektoris is a term originating from Lithuanian, roughly translating to "convector" in English. It refers to a type of heating appliance designed to heat a space through convection. Convection heating works by circulating air. A konvektoris typically consists of an electric heating element or a system for hot water circulation, enclosed within a casing. As the heating element warms the air around it, this heated air becomes less dense and rises. Cooler, denser air then sinks to take its place, creating a continuous cycle of air circulation.
