Konttialusta

Konttialusta is a Finnish term with two common meanings depending on the context: a physical base or chassis for shipping containers, and a software platform for running containerized applications.

In logistics and transport, konttialusta refers to equipment designed to carry standardized shipping containers. It includes chassis or decks that can hold ISO-standard containers (such as 20-foot and 40-foot units) and enable intermodal movement by truck, rail, and sea. The konttialusta may be a fixed platform in a terminal or a movable chassis attached to a truck or railcar. In information technology, konttialusta denotes a container platform—an environment for deploying, running, and managing containerized software.
