Konformalsuse

Konformalsuse is a term that describes the property of a function or a transformation to preserve angles between curves. In essence, when a transformation is conformal, it does not distort the angles at any point. This means that if two curves intersect at a certain angle, their transformed counterparts under a conformal map will intersect at the same angle.

This property is particularly important in complex analysis. Conformal maps are functions of a complex variable that are differentiable and their derivatives are non-zero. The Cauchy-Riemann equations are a necessary and sufficient condition for a function of a complex variable to be conformal. These equations relate the partial derivatives of the real and imaginary parts of the function.
