Kommunikasjonsrett refers to the legal entitlement of individuals to engage in the exchange of information and ideas within a society. It encompasses the right to express oneself, to receive information, and to participate in public discourse. The European Convention on Human Rights also protects these rights under Article 10. While these norms establish a baseline, the specific scope of kommunikasjonsrett varies between legal systems, reflecting cultural, historical, and technological differences.
