Klonasis
Klonasis is a genus of grasshoppers in the family Acrididae. These grasshoppers are native to the Palearctic realm. They are medium-sized insects, typically brown or green in coloration, which aids in their camouflage within their grassy habitats. Klonasis grasshoppers are phytophagous, meaning they feed on plants. Their diet primarily consists of grasses and other herbaceous vegetation.
The genus Klonasis was described by Ignacio Bolívar in 1914. Species within this genus are found in
