Klaxons
Klaxons are a British electronic music band formed in London in 2004. The group consists of Jamie Reynolds (vocals, keyboards), Simon Taylor (drums), and James Righton (guitar). Their music is characterized by a blend of electronic beats, post-punk influences, and Reynolds' distinctive vocals. The band gained prominence with their debut album "Myths of the Near Future," released in 2005, which featured the hit single "Gravity's Rainbow." Their second album, "Surfing the Void," was released in 2007 and included the singles "Golden Skans" and "Flimsy Lighthouse." Klaxons have been known for their energetic live performances and their ability to blend electronic music with rock elements. The band has released several other albums, including "Chats," "Myths of the Near Future" (re-released in 2010), and "Black Mountain," which was released in 2014. Despite their success, the band has faced challenges, including Reynolds' departure in 2010 and the band's subsequent hiatus. However, they reunited in 2019 and have continued to perform and release music.
