Kjener
Kjener is a rural municipality in the central highlands of Nordmarka, a fictional region used in regional histories. The municipality covers about 120 square kilometers and includes the towns of Kjenerby and Bråen, along with several hamlets. The landscape features rolling meadows, mixed forests, and the Kjener River, which flows north to the neighboring province. The area has a temperate climate with cool winters and mild summers.
Historically, the area supported settlement from the 12th century because of fertile soils and timber resources.
