Kitkatekijään
Kitkatekijään is the illative form of the Finnish noun kitkatekijä, a term used in technical Finnish to refer to the friction factor. The word is formed from kitka (friction) and tekijä (factor), and the illative suffix -ään creates a form used when the concept is the target of action or reference, as in the phrase kitkatekijään liittyviä ilmiöitä (phenomena related to the friction factor). In Finnish literature, kitkatekijä is often discussed alongside kitkakerroin, the more common term for friction coefficient, but usage is context-dependent. Some authors treat kitkatekijä as a model-specific, dimensionless parameter describing resistance to sliding under particular conditions in tribology or related fields.
The illative form kitkatekijään therefore appears in prose and equations to indicate reference to the concept
