Kindu

Kindu, also known as Kiindu or Ki-Nd-u, is a dialect of the Bendi language spoken in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is primarily found in the Ituri Province, specifically in the Djugu territory. Speakers of Kindu are often found in villages such as Djugu, Komanda, and other surrounding areas. The language is part of the Ubangian language family and shares similarities with other Bendi dialects.

Little is documented about the specific linguistic features that distinguish Kindu from other Bendi dialects, though it is generally understood to be mutually intelligible with closely related varieties.
