Kinase inhibitors are drugs designed to block the activity of these aberrant kinases, thereby interrupting the signaling pathways that drive cancer growth.

Treatment is typically administered orally, though some may be given intravenously. While often effective, resistance to kinase inhibitors can develop over time, requiring adjustments to treatment strategies.
