Kiinteähintainen

Kiinteähintainen is a Finnish adjective meaning "fixed-price" or "at a fixed price". It describes goods, services, contracts or tariffs offered for a predetermined, unchanging sum rather than a price that varies with usage, time or fluctuating costs. The term is commonly used in commerce, construction, procurement and consumer contracts.

As a contract type, kiinteähintainen allocates cost certainty to the buyer and places the risk of cost overruns on the seller or contractor.
