Kielitasolle is a Finnish phrase that literally means “to the language level” and is used to refer to reaching a specific level of language proficiency. It is not a fixed technical term with a standalone definition, but a grammatical form of the noun kielitaso (language level) combined with the illative suffix -lle, which marks direction or destination. The expression is common in educational and policy contexts when discussing goals, thresholds, or targets in language learning.

In usage, kielitasolle appears in sentences that describe aims or requirements in language education. For example, oppilaan tavoitteena on päästä kielitasolle B2 (“the student’s goal is to reach language level B2”) or kurssin tavoitteena on nostaa osallistujien kielitasolle A2.
