Keskmistega

Keskmistega is a small village in the northern part of Estonia, located in the Lääne-Nigula Parish, Lääne County. It is situated on the left bank of the Mõniste River, approximately 20 kilometers north of Haapsalu, the regional center.

Keskmistega is part of the larger Mõniste Nature Reserve, which is known for its diverse wildlife and natural beauty. The reserve is a popular destination for birdwatchers, hikers, and nature enthusiasts.

The village has a general store, a small library, and a community center, which hosts various events and activities throughout the year. The local school, which was closed in 2018, was a significant part of the community, providing education to children from Keskmistega and neighboring villages.
