Keski-Suomen, or Central Finland, is a region of Finland located in the western-central part of the country. It is one of Finland's 19 regions. The regional capital and largest city is Jyväskylä. The region has a population of about 250,000 and covers a landscape dominated by lakeland scenery with numerous lakes and forests.
