Kergejõustikuüritused

Kergejõustikuüritused, commonly translated as athletics events or track and field competitions, encompass a wide range of athletic disciplines. These events are divided into three main categories: running, jumping, and throwing. Each discipline tests different aspects of an athlete's physical capabilities, including speed, strength, endurance, agility, and coordination.

Running events include sprints like the 100 meters and 200 meters, middle-distance races such as the 800 meters and 1500 meters, long-distance races like the 5000 meters and 10000 meters, and hurdles races. Relays, where teams of athletes compete, are also a popular running event.
