Keramikprozessen refer to a series of industrial processes used to produce ceramics and other inorganic, non-metallic materials. These processes involve various stages of powder mixing, drying, firing, and shaping to create ceramic products such as tableware, sanitary ware, and technical ceramics.

The creation of ceramics begins with the preparation of powder materials, typically consisting of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, and other metal oxides. These powders are then mixed in specific proportions to achieve the desired chemical composition. The mixture is then dried under controlled conditions, either through atmospheric drying or spray drying, depending on the product requirements.

The dried ceramic powder, also known as green ceramic, is then shaped into its final form using various methods such as pressing, casting, or injection molding. This stage may involve the addition of binders or plasticizers to facilitate the shaping process.

The shaped ceramic piece is then fired at high temperatures, typically in a kiln, to achieve the desired level of densification and refractoriness. The firing process involves the sintering of the ceramic material, where the powder particles grow and fuse together to form a compact, hard, and non-porous structure.
