Kehitystehtäviin

Kehitystehtäviin is a Finnish linguistic and educational term referring to developmental tasks—milestones or duties that individuals are expected to master as they grow. The form kehitystehtäviin is the inflected version of the base noun kehitystehtävä (developmental task) used in Finnish sentences to discuss tasks across different life stages. In psychology, education, and parenting contexts, the concept is used to describe age- or stage-appropriate objectives that support healthy development.

The idea originates in the field of developmental psychology, most prominently associated with Robert Havighurst, who described a series of life-stage tasks that society expects people to accomplish. According to this view, successfully completing these tasks helps individuals develop competence, self-concept, and social integration.
