Kauplejaplatvorms
Kauplejaplatvorms, also known as Kaupleja Plats, is a historic site located in Riga, Latvia. It is situated in the Old Town, near the Riga Central Market, and is a significant example of late 19th-century commercial architecture. The platvorms, or platforms, were built to facilitate the loading and unloading of goods from wagons and onto market stalls. The site is named after Kaupleja Street, which runs parallel to it, and the term "platvorms" refers to the flat surfaces where the stalls were set up.
