Kashubia
Kashubia, or Kaszuby in Polish, is a historical and cultural region in northern Poland. It lies mainly within the Pomeranian Voivodeship and extends along the Baltic coast and the inland areas west of Gdańsk Bay. The region is associated with the Kashubians, a West Slavic ethnic group with its own language and traditions. Its boundaries are not strictly defined but roughly correspond to a core area around towns such as Kartuzy, Kościerzyna, Puck and Wejherowo, and to portions of adjacent counties.
