Kannemeyeria
Kannemeyeria is a genus of dicynodont therapsids from the Permian period. It is one of the better-known early members of the dicynodont radiation, belonging to the Kannemeyeriiformes and the family Kannemeyeriidae. Fossils have been found mainly in the Karoo Basin of southern Africa, dating to the Middle to Late Permian, with relatives known from other parts of Gondwana, indicating a broad distribution within southern Pangaea.
