Kalvopumppu
Kalvopumppu, also known as diaphragm pump, is a type of positive displacement pump. It utilizes a reciprocating action of a flexible diaphragm to move fluid. The diaphragm, typically made of rubber or plastic, is connected to a drive mechanism, often a motor or a compressed air source. As the diaphragm moves in one direction, it creates a larger volume in the pump chamber, drawing fluid in through an inlet valve. On its return stroke, the diaphragm reduces the chamber volume, forcing the fluid out through an outlet valve.
Kalvopumput are commonly used in various industrial and domestic applications. They are well-suited for handling corrosive,
There are several types of kalvopumput, including air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps and mechanically operated diaphragm pumps.
