Kafg is a fictional sovereign state created for world-building, political theory, and speculative fiction. It is described as a small island nation with a temperate climate and a diversified economy.

Kafg comprises five inhabited islands and several smaller islets in the northern sea of the fictional continent of Varun. The capital is the coastal city of Kalm, located on the largest island. The terrain ranges from volcanic highlands to lowland plains.

In the fictional timeline, Kafg emerged as a unified polity in the 14th century and transitioned to a constitutional republic after a peaceful reform movement in the late 20th century. Earlier periods included a representative council and a ceremonial monarchy.

Kafg operates under a parliamentary system with a president as head of state and a prime minister as head of government. The unicameral legislature has 42 seats. Elections occur every four years.

The economy is service-oriented, with finance, tourism, and logistics as key sectors. Its currency is the kafganian, and the country maintains open trade policies with regional partners.

Population is about 2.4 million. The official language is Kafgian, with several minority languages recognized. Cultural life centers on maritime trade, literature, and seasonal festivals; cuisine features seafood, grains, and dairy.
