Kaasuromahdus, often translated as gas explosion or gas ignition, refers to the rapid combustion of a flammable gas mixed with air or oxygen. This phenomenon occurs when the concentration of the flammable gas falls within its flammability limits, which are the minimum and maximum concentrations of a gas that can burn or explode in air. If the concentration is below the lower flammability limit, there is insufficient fuel to support combustion. If it is above the upper flammability limit, there is too little oxygen to sustain the reaction.
