Kaashäälne
Kaashäälne is a small rural locality situated in the southern part of the country of Estonia, within the jurisdiction of Saare County. The settlement lies approximately 12 kilometres east of the municipal centre of Kuusalu and is surrounded by mixed coniferous forest and gently rolling fields that support local agriculture. Historically, Kaashäälne was first documented in the early 17th century as a timber and hunting camp north of a forest ridge. During the period of Swedish rule, the area was part of a larger estate and later, under Russian governance, it was incorporated into the administrative division of the governorate of Estonia. In the 20th century, following Estonian independence, the community developed its own primary school and a local store, while many residents commuted to larger towns for employment.
The population of Kaashäälne is estimated at around 350 inhabitants, according to the most recent national
