KMSids
KMSids are a type of identifier used within certain software activation systems. They are often associated with Key Management Service (KMS), a method used by Microsoft for volume activation of its operating systems and applications. A KMSid, or KMS ID, typically represents a unique identifier for a specific product or application that requires activation. When a KMS host is set up, it uses these KMSids to recognize and validate requests for activation from client machines. Each KMSid corresponds to a particular product key type.
