KKNP
KKNP may refer to several entities, most notably the Komodo National Park in Indonesia. Komodo National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Lesser Sunda Islands of Indonesia, within the province of East Nusa Tenggara. It encompasses the three larger islands of Komodo, Padar, and Rinca, as well as numerous smaller islands. The park was established in 1980 initially to protect the Komodo dragon, the world's largest living lizard. Over time, its conservation goals expanded to include the rich biodiversity of the region, both terrestrial and marine.
The terrestrial environment of the park is characterized by dry savanna, monsoon forests, and coral beaches.
Conservation efforts within Komodo National Park focus on protecting the Komodo dragon population and its habitat,
