Jrð
Jrð is a Danish and Faroese letter, an addition to the Latin alphabet. It is formed by combining the letter 'd' with the runic letter 'j' (also known as yr). This ligature was primarily used in Old Norse and early Danish manuscripts. Its pronunciation is generally considered to be a voiced palatal approximant, similar to the 'y' sound in the English word "yes," but often with a more "d-like" quality due to its origin.
The use of Jrð was more common in older texts and gradually fell out of regular use
