Joinflamueshmërinë refers to a rare and transient atmospheric phenomenon characterized by the appearance of a fleeting, shimmering flame-like light in the sky, often observed during specific meteorological conditions. The term is derived from a combination of Albanian words: *join* (meaning "light" or "glow"), *flamë* ("flame"), and *mërë* ("air" or "sky"), with the suffix *-ishmërinë* indicating a state or occurrence. While not widely documented in scientific literature, anecdotal reports and local folklore in certain regions of the Balkans suggest its occurrence, particularly in mountainous or coastal areas.

The phenomenon is typically described as a soft, pulsating glow that appears without a discernible source, lasting only a few seconds to minutes. It is often associated with high humidity, low-pressure systems, or the presence of certain minerals in the air, such as phosphorescent compounds. Some accounts link it to auroral activity or even extraterrestrial influences, though no empirical evidence supports these claims.
