Jariková

Jariková is a village and municipality in Příbram District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The village has a total area of 14.78 km², making it one of the smaller municipalities in the region. The local population is approximately 1,200 residents.

The village is surrounded by forests and rolling hills. The economy is largely based on agriculture and small-scale industry. Jariková has a single main road that connects it to the nearby towns of Rosovice and Kvilda.

Historically, the village was known for its mining activities, particularly the extraction of iron and copper deposits. The region has a rich geological history, with signs of ancient mining activities dating back to the 12th century. However, much of the area was decimated by the Thirty Years' War, and subsequent centuries saw a decline in mining activities.
