ItaloAmericans are Americans of Italian descent. The term encompasses a broad range of individuals with ancestral ties to Italy, who have immigrated to the United States over several centuries. The largest waves of Italian immigration occurred during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, driven by economic hardship and political instability in Italy.
