Isodesmosiini

Isodesmosiini is a taxonomic tribe within the subfamily Myrmicinae of the ant family Formicidae. This tribe currently contains only one genus, Isodesmus. Ants belonging to this tribe are found in the Neotropical region, with specific records from Brazil and Argentina. The Isodesmosiini are characterized by a combination of morphological features, including specific arrangements of spines and sutures on their body segments, as well as the structure of their antennae and mandibles.

The genus Isodesmus itself is small and relatively poorly understood.
