Investitoritele is a Romanian term used to refer to female investors, i.e., women who engage in financial investing, whether personally, professionally, or through organized investment vehicles. The expression is used in economic writing, media coverage, and academic analysis to distinguish women as investors from their male counterparts and to highlight gender dimensions in finance. The notion encompasses a wide range of activities, including personal asset management, angel investing, participation in venture capital funds, and leadership roles in asset management.

Historically, women have been underrepresented in many areas of investing, especially in senior roles in asset management and in venture capital. In recent years, several markets have seen growing participation by women as investors, fund managers, and founders of women-focused investment networks. Initiatives aimed at expanding access to capital for women-led enterprises, and at supporting women who invest, have become more common, reflecting broader moves toward gender diversity in finance.

Research on the impact of female investors is mixed. Some studies suggest that increasing gender diversity among investment teams can influence risk appetite, sector choices, and governance focus, potentially broadening portfolios. However, there is no unanimous conclusion about superior performance solely due to gender, and results often depend on context, experience, and market conditions.
