Interrelations refer to the ways in which two or more elements within a system influence, depend on, or correspond to one another. The term emphasizes connections rather than the entities in isolation, noting that changes in one element can propagate through others. Interrelations can be direct, such as a cause‑effect link, or indirect, mediated by intermediate components; they can also be reciprocal, forming feedback loops that shape system behavior.
