Interguilds represent a concept found in various fictional settings, particularly in role-playing games and fantasy literature. They refer to alliances or cooperative relationships formed between distinct groups or organizations, often referred to as "guilds." These guilds might be professional bodies, trade associations, mercenary companies, or even clandestine societies. The purpose of an interguild alliance can vary widely, from mutual defense against common enemies to the pooling of resources for large-scale projects, or the establishment of trade agreements and shared markets.

The formation of an interguild is typically a strategic decision driven by mutual benefit. It allows individual guilds to leverage each other's strengths, fill each other's weaknesses, and exert greater influence than they could alone. For example, a crafting guild might form an interguild with a merchant guild to ensure the efficient distribution of their goods, while a warrior guild could ally with a mage guild for enhanced combat capabilities. Such alliances can lead to significant shifts in power dynamics within the fictional world.

However, interguilds are not always harmonious. Internal disagreements, rivalries between member guilds, or conflicting interests can strain or even break these alliances.
