Innraþjóðaréttur
Innraþjóðaréttur, often translated as private international law, deals with legal relationships that have a foreign element. It is concerned with situations where a dispute involves parties from different countries or where the subject matter of the dispute is located in more than one country. Innraþjóðaréttur does not create substantive legal rules in the same way that national laws do.
