Inju

Inju is a commune in Montenegro, located in the Nikšić Municipality. The commune is situated in the southern part of the country, near the city of Nikšić. Inju lies in the Nikšić Valley, in the northeastern part of the Nikšić Municipality. The commune encompasses a total area of 620 hectares of land and is surrounded by the Nikšić Mountain.

Inju is a rural area, with a small population. According to the 2011 census, the commune's population was approximately 850 residents. The inhabitants of Inju primarily live in rural villages and towns. The climate in Inju is Mediterranean, with mild winters and warm summers. The region experiences significant precipitation throughout the year, particularly during the spring and autumn months.

The economy of Inju is largely based on agriculture, livestock farming, and forestry. The commune's fertile soil and favorable climate make it an ideal region for farming a variety of crops, including fruits, vegetables, and grains. In addition to agriculture, many residents of Inju engage in livestock farming, particularly in raising cattle, pigs, and sheep.
