Inertiaasta

Inertiaasta is a hypothetical concept within theoretical physics that explores the relationship between inertia and the passage of time. It suggests that the perceived inertia of an object, its resistance to acceleration, might not be a constant but rather a variable that changes with the rate at which time is experienced by that object relative to an observer. The core idea posits that as an object's temporal frame deviates more significantly from that of a reference observer, its inertial mass could appear to increase or decrease.

The concept arises from speculative interpretations of relativistic effects and quantum gravity theories. Proponents suggest that if spacetime is not a static backdrop but a dynamic entity, then inertia, which is intrinsically linked to spacetime through concepts like the Higgs field, might also exhibit temporal dependencies.
