Ilyushinproduced refers to the range of aircraft, airframes, and related aerospace technologies designed, developed, and produced by the Ilyushin Design Bureau, a prominent Soviet and Russian aircraft manufacturer founded in 1933 by Vladimir Ilyushin. The bureau has a long history of producing both military and civilian aircraft, contributing significantly to air transport, cargo, and strategic military capabilities in the USSR and contemporary Russia. Key products include the Il-2 Shturmovik ground-attack aircraft of World War II, which became one of the most produced aircraft of the war; the Il-18 and Il-62 long‑range airliners that served Soviet and international carriers in the Cold War era; and the heavy transport Il-76 series, which remains in use worldwide for both civilian logistics and military logistics missions.
