Ilmavalvontakeskus
Ilmavalvontakeskus (IVC) is the Finnish air traffic control center responsible for managing civil air traffic in Finland. It is operated by Finavia, the Finnish national provider of air navigation services, and functions under the oversight of the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom). The center administers the Finnish Flight Information Region (FIR) and provides en-route control, approach and departure control, as well as advisory services to pilots within its airspace. It coordinates with neighboring ATS units and with European air traffic management organizations to ensure safe and efficient use of airspace.
